If I were just searching for a place and google maps told me it was 50 miles away, I'd probably assume it's got a different place with the same name, rather than thinking "oh, they must mean 50 miles if I'm driving". ![]() ![]() As such some places that are only around 5 or so physical miles away from me are 50+ when driving. In the dropdown menu, choose Measure distance. For example, I happen to live on an island with only one way on/off. Right-click anywhere on the map that you want to set as a starting point.
